It’s the craziest week of the year for our family. Dance recitals, birthdays, anniversaries…it’s just a wild week but one that we absolutely LOVE! Especially Clara Beth. Tonight she will take the stage as a dancer with School of Dance Arts for the seventh time. SEVENTH. That blows my mind. I truly feel like she was the age that Holland is in these photos just a couple of years ago maybe. Yesterday we were frantically searching for tap ties before the recital and we came across CB’s first pair of tap shoes. Y’all, I can’t even. The shoe fit in my hand, it was sooooo teeny! I remember having to traipse all over looking for that shoe because no store in town had one small enough to fit her. The kid used to have freakishly small feet. But anyway, all that to say that we love this week of the year and it took me back to our early dance days and reminded me of the dance session we did of Holland a few months ago. We’ve been photographing this sweet child with dance shoes since she was literally just days old, so it made perfect sense that her three year session would be dance themed as well. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this girl and her serious SPUNK! She makes me laugh so hard! And it’s clear that she definitely inherited her momma’s love of dance. She had so much fun at this session twirling and tapping all over the studio floor. And we had the best time watching her! We love you, Miss Holland! And Niki, thank you so much for all that you do for ALL of your dancers!! We appreciate you so much!
