Oh, how I do love a little girl in a smocked dress! Yesterday Clara Beth and I were looking back at my Facebook memories and a photo of her at the beach when she was five popped up. She was in a smocked dress. Do you know that child had the audacity to ask me why I dressed her in a smocked dress when she was “that OLD”?!?! Are you kidding me, child?! Like five years old is a big kid or something. I quickly set her straight and she is now very well aware that I will be dressing her own little lady one day (should she be blessed with one! Or more!) in smocked dresses and giant bows well beyond age five. 
Miss Ella Kate was just the sweetest for her heirloom session! I love how timeless these sessions are. They are my very favorite way to hang on to that “still a baby but quickly approaching big kid” stage in life. Sweet girl, you are gorgeous! Collin and I always love hanging out with you!
