This is one of my favorite sessions that this family does! Their tiny little two year old on their old tree-lined dirt driveway. LOVE. It just doesn’t get a whole lot more southern than that, in my opinion. And I love that this is the driveway that these children will grow up driving their toy trucks on, racing down, and learning to pedal their bikes on. The memories that will be made on this dirt path are priceless, and I know that their momma and daddy will think of that every time they look at these portraits! We photographed Hampton and Katie Brice a couple of years ago, and now it was Bowen’s turn. He’s got the most incredible smile, and I just love how this all turned out. And ending the session with all of the siblings playing in the dirt pile that Hurricane Matthew so generously created for them was fitting. Ending the session in the port-a-potty that the construction crew uses? Well, that was bit odd. But also hilarious and perfectly representative of what their family has gone through since that storm blew in and rocked our area! Guys, as always, it was fun! Can’t wait for next time!
