I hope that all of you fathers had a great father’s day yesterday. I know that I did. My brother-in-law’s father-in-law invited a group of extended family to the lake. We had a great time on the water, in the boat, and just sitting around talking. With a bunch of family is how father’s day needs to be spent. Clara Beth is still a little too small to get involved with all of the outdoor activities, but she was there and had some great sleep and being held time.
Unfortunately, my parents live 1000 miles away, so it makes it tough to spend time with them. The best part, though, is how great it is to finally be able to visit with them when the time comes. They are going to be here next week to visit, but mostly to be able to meet their latest grandchild. I am looking forward to it, and I expect that they are too.
