OK, so she is actually four months and one week now, but we just took her in for her four month check up. She is in the 50% for both height and weight. We are so proud. Dr. says that she is developing very well, and we are excelent parents…well, I added that but we are doing a pretty good job.
We had her in the studio on Monday and took a few portraits of her there,
Then on Tuesday I did something that I had been wanting to do for a while…her portrait in her room with her crib and crown and gown in the background.
Aron, Clara Beth and I are off to greenville this weekend for my annual schooling. The state photography association has an annual convention for us to maintain and improve what we do. Just like most professions have. Makgill will be staying here in Florence with his grandparents. It is going to be the longest we have ever been away from him. The closer it get to the day we leave, the sadder Aron and I feel. We will make it through, but we are going to be ready to get back home to see him. We hope that he will actually miss us, too.
Anyway, I am excited about this years convention because it is going to focus on a lot of what my studio does. Children and weddings. I love coming back and trying out new things that I had never even considered before. Some of my most popular portraits are a direct result of some of the classes I have taken over the years. I have 8 new portraits that are going to be entered into our states print competition. I am excited and nervouse. Every year, I do better, but so does everyone else. Wish me luck!
