There’s so much that I love about this time of year. I LOVE the cooler weather. In fact, right now I’m sitting on the couch sipping coffee with the fire going listening to Mak read. I love mornings like this and I’m excited that we have a stretch of several months ahead of us where we will be able to start our school day this way. I love the traditions of this time of year…the quirky little things that families do that just scream Fall. I love that the next two months are just one big ball of warm-fuzzy-glowy feelings that remind you of home. My very favorite day of the year, Thanksgiving, is just a few weeks away. And after that begins one of my favorite rituals of the year: the afternoon trek to the mailbox. Christmas cards!!! I love them. I love seeing how families have grown and changed over the past year. And as digital as our world has become, there’s nothing like the feeling that comes with getting a for real piece of mail from the mailbox. Here are a few of the designs that we are offering this year at Collin M. Smith Portrait Photography. It would be impossible to share them all with you because we literally have hundreds of designs, but here are some of the new ones for this year. I can’t wait to see the designs that you choose! As always, these designs are fully customizable. Text and the number of photos can be changed to meet your needs. If a card is designed to be a folding card and you would rather have a postcard style, we can make the adjustments to get you what you need (and vice-versa). Cards can be designed from ANY session you have had created this year, not just Christmas Limited Editions. And if you have any questions, please give us a call!
Here is a fully designed 5×7 sized postcard. The rest of the cards are just the templates and will not have photos added to them yet. Obviously, photos will go in the big gray or black spaces.
This next set is designed to be folding cards. Again, if you would like one of these designs but only need a flat card we can do that for you.
And now, my favorites!!! These cards are designed to be cut-outs and they come in a variety of shapes. To me, they are more than just a card. They are little gifts that you can send to all of your friends. These cards are in fun shapes and, if you like, you can attach a ribbon to them and they can be hung from the tree. It’s a card that friends and family will keep for years and always remember that this is the way your family looked in 2011. LOVE them!!! All of these templates are designed to be cut-outs, however if you would prefer a more traditional postcard style we can make them like that as well.
