Y’all, this session was just incredible. I love an old house. The intricate woodwork, the grand hallways, the tall ceilings…I just love everything about them. When Collin and I were first married we lived in the little old farmhouse that my great grandparents built. Granted, it wasn’t as old or nearly as nice as the homes where we photographed this session, but I loved every minute of our time in that home! These homes in Cheraw are really old. As in, Sherman and his troops stayed in one of them old. Since homeschooling I have become a colossal history nerd and the fact that troops from the Civil War walked the floors of these homes just blows my mind! But you know what was even better than these homes at this session? These cousins. If you’ve read this blog for any length of time at all then you know that I’m a pretty big fan of cousins. And these are some great ones. Ella is the newest, obviously, and her older cousins think this baby hung the moon! They are so in love! But how could you not be? Just look at that sweet face! Thanks for letting us hang out, guys! Can’t wait to see you again!
