Like all of you, this morning our hearts are so heavy for Charleston and the tragedy that occurred. There’s no way to understand the evil that took place in that city last night, and we are praying that the peace that PASSES understanding that comes from Jesus will comfort the families of the victims and the people of this city that we love so much. And Gracious, we do love this city. Working there is one of our favorite things that we have the opportunity to do with this business. The oaks, the cobblestone streets, the boats in the harbor, even the stench of the horses downtown…it will always be one of our favorite places to be. Recently we were there with this huge extended family and like almost every other Charleston summer day we spent our time sweating through a blanket of humidity…and it was only 8:00 in the morning! But we had the best time with this tight knit group and I absolutely love the portraits that resulted from this session. Pauline and Helen, thank you for putting this session together and thank you for allowing us to document your family!
