I am just SO SOOO Excited about this upcoming Limited Edition! I was listening to Mak and CB this evening while I was cooking supper. They were being so sweet to one another. Clara Beth was working so hard to try to figure out some words that were a little difficult to read and Mak was very patiently helping her. And then encouraging her with a “Great Job, Clara Beth!” when she figured it out. And her eyes when he gave her a compliment?! They lit up like she was the happiest girl in the world. Oh my Stars, I love those two babes so much.
Mind you, that scene is not necessarily the norm around these parts. Oh no, we have our fair share of mean words, yelling, not sharing, name calling…you know, all of the normal stuff about that sibling relationship. But in a weird way, I love that too. Because they have one another. You know that old saying about being the meanest to the ones you love because you know it’s safe to take frustrations out on them? Even when they act ugly toward each other I know that their bond is strong. The truth is, they do argue. Daily. But they also play together and have some of the sweetest conversations I have ever heard. He is her biggest helper. She is his biggest cheerleader. I love them both with all of my heart!
