Y’all, can I tell you something that I truly believe with all my heart? There is no session as important as the family session. I mean it, no question. I’ve always believed this, but sending a kid off to college has pushed this belief into overdrive for me. I can’t tell you how passing a family photo on my walls brings a smile to my face or tears to my eyes, depending on the mood I’m in at that particular time. The portraits of the four of us that surround me in my home will instantly transport me to that time and place and help me remember my crew at whatever age they were, and whatever mood they were in, be it happy, funny, or frustrated (I’m looking at you, Lake Jocassee 2015!). So, what I’m saying is, DO. THE. SESSION. It’s worth it, I promise. You will not regret it!
And y’all know I can help you out here! There are two main types of family sessions that we offer at the studio. The first is a custom session at a location that is meaningful to you. Maybe that’s your home, maybe a vacation spot that you love, or maybe just a place around town that is fun and unique! Sessions at locations in or around Florence, Charleston, or North Myrtle Beach are $125. After your session you will receive a gallery of images from which you will order your portraits. The second option is coming up on October 22nd and 23rd, and is perfect for the family who wants a quick session in a beautiful location, but doesn’t really have any need for a specific place. Our Family Limited Edition will be held here in our portrait garden on those dates! Sessions are twenty minutes long, by appointment only, and cost $65 with specially priced portrait and digital purchased separately. These sessions are fast and focus on the bonds that make your family unique! It’s over before you know it and I promise you it’s tons of fun!
