Now for part two of our four part Bald Head blog posts! This family is the reason we were all there. Thad and Georgiana grew up vacationing at Bald Head. Actually, Thad’s grandparents built the first home on the island! Thad and Georgiana met here one summer when he was teaching sailing and she was working at one of the island’s restaurants. They started dating, he proposed on the island a year later, and then a year after that they were married here! They announced that they were expecting their first child here…basically every big moment in their lives can be traced back to Bald Head. It’s their favorite place on earth. And wouldn’t you know it, we did this session on another big date for them, their fifth wedding anniversary! Georgiana has always been the best at incorporating significant props into her boys’ sessions, but I think she outdid herself this time! Georgiana and Thad, thank you for introducing us to this beautiful island!
