Y’all, I just love the beach. I really really do. Any of the other three members of my family will tell you that I’m obsessed. So when the opportunity arose to check out a brand new (to us) beach in North Carolina, we happily took it. Four families were vacationing there for a series of a few days in June and they asked if we could join them for some beach sessions out on the island. Um, let me think…YES! Absolutely! Bald Head is accessible only by ferry. There are no cars on the island, only golf carts and bikes. I can’t even express to you how beautiful this place is! The first family that we photographed was Greg, Jordan, and sweet little Martha Ann. And Great Day, they put a bonnet on that baby. Y’all know my feelings on The Beaufort Bonnet Company, right? I tried to convince Collin to have another kid just so I could get a bonnet. I’m kidding (kind of), but seriously, how sweet is she? Let me tell you, it was WINDY on the beach that night. And it’s hard to explain to a toddler to just smile through the crazy blowing sand. But Martha Ann was perfect! Guys, we had so much fun with y’all! Three more Bald Head Island sessions will be on the blog soon, so keep checking back!
