There are so many things I love about this session that Collin did of these two sisters, and I am so excited to finally be able to share it with you. We first met this family four years ago when Collin photographed Ann Marie and Nathan’s wedding. In fact, Nathan and Ann Marie’s engagement session in Downtown Greenville was the first (and only, I think) time that Collin and I traveled out of town with only Clara Beth while Mak stayed at home with my parents. She was just a tiny baby and we had so much fun that weekend…even though we did miss our boy. Their Engagement session is still one of my favorites ever. Their wedding was amazingly beautiful and we have enjoyed keeping up with the entire family on facebook for the last couple of years. Recently Belinda (Ann Marie and Caroline’s mom) contacted Collin about doing a portrait of her girls. And she wanted it done at the family’s very favorite spot…their home on the inlet. As soon as we pulled up the drive it became my very favorite spot, too. 🙂 It is GORGEOUS there. I sat on the hammock with the kids while Collin photographed and seriously thought about staying there forever. It is just that kind of place. Nothing fancy or over the top about it…just a perfect view of God’s creation! Ann Marie and Caroline are Gorgeous, too, and I love the way this session turned out! It was so much fun catching up with the whole family…we can’t wait to see y’all again!
And, of course, Nathan hopped into one with his bride…Love it!! Here they are four years ago, kissing by a cafe and dancing in the streets in Greenville…
And now…
These are fantastic. Words cannot describe how I feel about your work and the memories that you capture with your art. Thank you!
BTW, I love you family! Precious love!
Hope Mak gets the grass whistle down to an art! He was soooo cute trying to learn!
