I was just on facebook and Ree Drummond (we’re all familiar with Ree, right? Pioneer Woman? LOVE.) described herself as a “baby-addicted” human. Perfection. I LOVE that term and I think I’m going to borrow it. There is nothing like a teeny new baby. The way they curl up, the smell of their skin. Well, y’all, my baby addiction was in serious over-drive this afternoon. We photographed four of the sweetest, teeniest 5 week old babies this afternoon. Quadruplets. Be still, my heart. The rain was starting to fall outside just as they arrived, and the babies were rushed in by their dad and granddad, assembly line style. We went from an empty studio to a studio overflowing with pure baby SWEETNESS in a matter of seconds. It was overwhelming and to see them in person made me tear up. I mean, these babies are a complete miracle. There were four of them living inside their Gorgeous momma’s tummy. They are now five weeks old and all out of the hospital…perfect, healthy little things. God is SO GOOD. I am so thankful for the opportunity to hold each one of them and kiss their sweet heads. I CANNOT Wait to watch them grow up. Matt and Susan, Congratulations! You are so blessed to be Momma and Daddy to these four special babies! Thnk you for bringing them to see us. It was an honor to photograph them. See you again soon (And I wasn’t kidding about the babysitting offer)!
