Collin photographed a wedding at a BEAUTIFUL winery in Charleston this weekend, so the kids and I packed up and headed down there with him. We stayed with my Aunt Dee Dee and Uncle Keith at their home near Kiawah. As always, it was a great trip!
Saturday was a family day (the wedding was Sunday). We started out by checking out the wedding site. It was completely GORGEOUS!
They even had turkeys, rabbits, and, best of all…GAMECOCKS!!!
This sweet (we thought) puppy nipped my boy! This DID NOT help with the whole fear of dogs thing!
We then enjoyed lunch at Kiawah
Unfortunately, we saw this face from our Sweet Baby A LOT this weekend. Poor thing’s cutting FOUR teeth!
They are growing up way too fast!
Makgill really liked this mannequin…it was a little scary.
Mak took this picture of his Daddy!
I was alone with the kids while Collin and Mom were at the wedding on Sunday. Luckily, there is a great playground on the island. We played for about three and a half hours. They were soooo ready for bed!
I think I can, I think I can…
Walking on his “pirate ship”
Abby, the most lovable dog in the world! She even says “I Love You” (or at least makes the noises!).
Such a ferocious beast…
They LOVED playing in the down comforter in the bedroom
Unfortunately, Makgill was pretty scared of Abby. This meant that the kids did a lot of playing with Abby through the windows.
Poor Abby! She wanted to play with them so bad!
Laura, my gorgeous cousin who we DID NOT see nearly enough of this weekend!
Thanks, Keith and Dee Dee, for another WONDERFUL weekend!
How Fun- Tal would have LOVED seeing all the animals, playing at the park and with Abby. Maybe next time we will get to go to Kiawah- it has been awhile!! love CB’s pouty face!!! that girl is soooo cute! Thanks for coming to Storytime today- it was soo fun watching the kids together! looking forward to next Tues already!!
