A Fun Day with Friends

Clara Beth, Anna, and I joined Tallon and Rebecca and Julie and Luke for Storytime today. Tuesdays are really for 2 year olds, but CB and I are allowed in because Anna is 2! Clara Beth doesn’t get into it so much, she mostly stays in my lap, but Anna loves it! And Tal COMPLETELY cracks me up! He’s all over the place and he LOVES doing the songs and all of the motions. He’s so cute! Today was Luke’s first day, but I think he really enjoyed it, too. Unfortunately, none of my Library pics turned out, so I don’t have any of Tal. 🙁

Julie and I took the kids to the park after Storytime (Rebecca left us to work out…Motivated Woman!). They had a great time and got really dirty!

Luke was so funny when Julie wiped his face. He told her, “No, Mama. That’s my face!” He’s says the funniest things.

She just continued walking right off the slide, fell all the way down on her face, and came up laughing. Tough Baby Girl!

WILD Woman!

Contemplating running fast over the bridge like Luke did. They ended up doing it, but maybe a little slower than Luke!

Thanks for a fun morning, Ladies (and Luke and Tallon)!

Then for supper we went to Roger’s for a BBQ fund raiser for St. Paul. We met Bryan, Kristin, and Anna, and Brandon, Jessica, Parson, and Lilah. Supper was great, and afterward we headed to Highland Park to let the kids run off that last little bit of energy before bed.

Lilah listened to her Daddy’s iPod.

Mak went up and down and up and down the “fireman pole”.

Parson made us some “chicken cookies” for dessert…don’t ask.

And the adults enjoyed talking while we watched our sweet little ones run EVERYWHERE.

Anna just seems like the perfect little Ballerina to me…so graceful!

And Mak spent a little bit of time in time-out. I don’t even remember what it was for. Funny thing…I can actually remember my brother Reeves sitting in time-out in pretty much this same spot when he was this age. He was against the brick wall, but other than that, it’s the same!

I don’t know about the other kids, but ours were definitely ready for bed!

Awe… Fun Pictures Aron and a BUSY Day!! I am soo glad ya’ll come to storytime with us- it would NOT be the same without ya’ll!! Makgill sort of reminds me of what Reeves would have looked like in time- out at the park!! What a picture that brings to mind! I can only imagine another little boy will prob have a similar picture sometime in the days (years) ahead!ReplyCancel
