I am a homeschool mom too. I love the way homeschooling gives our family freedom to do the things we love like spending time with our kids and yet the while we can get our work done too. I am so happy to see that you have such a great balance of home, family, and school.
You should have seen my daughter’s joy when she realized your son and her have the same Horizions math book. She started screaming, “He is in the second grade”. Thanks, Y’all. I think blogs in general are here for good. I feel like stuff gets lost in the shuffle of facebook, and blogs are a good way to keep track of important events, ya know? I am definitely still a blog reader, and I wish I was a better poster. Especially about homeschool stuff. It was a man who started the whole “blogs are dead” conversation I am referring to, and for men he’s probably right. At least about blogs like this one. 😉 Beth, I would LOVE to meet another Florence homeschool mom!
