itty bitty natalie!

Gracious, this baby girl is SWEET, SWEET, SWEET!!! She was such a sleepy little sugar and so content to put up with our poses. And she came in with a basket of accessories that would have made grown women green with envy. Natalie, you are such a sweetie pie!! We can’t wait to watch you...

Little Miss Anna

What a cutie! Her sweet eyes just make me smile! Collin and I had so much fun with Miss Anna and her momma. Baby Girl is SUPER expressive for such a young one…we loved watching those facial expressions change! Thanks for coming to play, Miss Anna! We’ll see you again soon!

    Sweet Ethan in Florida!!

So, this morning I’m sitting on the couch beside a cute little blondie who was awake until after midnight coughing last night. No fever. No other symptoms. Just crazy coughing to the point that she makes herself sick. UGH. I absolutely HATE it when your kid feels bad and you really don’t know how to...

Aww, this is the sweet Ethan that Cayden took his place at daycare. I hear about Ethan all the time and how much Cayden looks and acts like him. He is a cutie.ReplyCancel

      our school

I woke up yesterday morning and realized that so far this year I haven’t taken any photos of Mak at school. And school has been a pretty big deal for us this year, so I feel that it deserves to be documented. Besides the whole “birthing him” event, I’d say teaching him has been the...

I loved all you had to share. You are doing a fantastic job as a momma AND a teacher! What a gift you are giving him! The school room is fantatic:) Almost makes me wish we were home schooling so we could do a fun room! I know it’s so much more than getting a fun room though:) Everyone has an opinion about everything… it’s just hard when its something you care so much about and their thoughts are on the opposite side. I’m going back to work part time b/c I miss it and I feel that it is part of my ministry area He has called me to… just like staying at home the past 5 years was what He called me to as well. Yes, I get “the look” when people find out I’m choosing to return to work. It’s like I’m feeding my kids to the wolves:) I pray it works out for us and we survive the transition. I also pray He will guide me and allow me to see if this is not working for our family. We are also blessed that we will not have to choose daycare for our kids to do this. Will never know till I try! I’m so happy you tried and it has worked so well for your family! I’ve enjoyed your homeschool stories…keep ’em coming!ReplyCancel

AMEN ARON! I LOVE this post. This topic is one that is close to my heart. Now having a baby and being a teacher makes me realize everyday that homeschooling seems more and more like the best way to teach a child. It’s sad that homeschooling has such a stigma attached. Mama’s are supposed to teach their children -whether it’s manners or math – that’s our job! 🙂ReplyCancel

Go ahead with your bad self! There are people out there that give homeschooling a bad name, but I think 99% of homeschooling parents are in it for the right reasons. I look forward to joining in, too. 🙂ReplyCancel
