We have had many calls and requests for another Saturday $100 Portrait project event, and I’m SOOO HAPPY to announce that we have one scheduled at Aroma Underground on August 29th! Why am I so happy? Well, first of all, I LOVE this project! We are having so much fun with these sessions, and I just love how creative Collin is getting with them! He’s photographed tiny babies, toddlers, mother/baby, families, siblings, big kids…pretty much every age group and they all just “work” with this look. And Collin and I are loving seeing all of the great things that people are doing with their digital images. We have seen HUGE, larger than life wall portraits of children, family portraits over mantles, images on birthday party invitations, wall collages that are being started…it’s so FUN! I would LOVE to see a tiny baby come in to be photographed for a birth announcement, and I’m getting really excited about the possibility of families having portraits created for Christmas gifts and Christmas cards as the season comes closer (and, yes, it’s already time to start thinking about that!). And the fact that with each session money is being raised for The Children’s Miracle Network makes it even better. It seems like every time I turn around I am hearing about another child that I know personally who is benefitting from this amazing organization. I love that through the $100 Portrait Project we can help raise money for that organization AND provide you with a great portrait at an amazing price as well.
But the other reason that I’m SOOOO HAPPY that the next event is scheduled for August 29th at Aroma Underground? COFFEE!!!! I’m shamefully addicted to the stuff and Aroma Underground is my favorite place in town to get it! So the thought of hanging out there for 4 hours on a Saturday is pretty appealing to me. Won’t you join me for some coffee? 🙂
Here’s an example of some of the portraits that have been created so far. We invite you to make your session personal by bringing in props. Let your son bring his favorite toy car or your daughter bring her favorite stuffed bear. Bring train sets…a wagon…an old rocking horse…whatever! Get creative!
