First game of the season

Friday night was the BIG GAME!!!

It was the first game for the Granger Landscapes Angels. They do not keep score at these games but Makgill is sure that his team won. After all, everyone on the team scored twice! The kids seem to love hitting, but fielding gets a little boring for them. We missed Parson, one of our star players. He was out with a feaver. We showed some serious power at the plate. I do not think we have any golden glove winners, but they have fun going after the ball. We are so proud of our Angels!

The Katie Mac team had an interesting defence strategy…SWARM THE BALL. They line up like they would for an on-sides kick in football. When the ball hits the ground, EVERYONE goes for it, and lands on it. It looked a little like a rugby scrum (I think that is what it is called). It was really funny to watch!

I cannot wait for the next game.
