Easter and Sweet Eleanor

Yesterday was one of my favorite Easters ever.  But you know what?  We took NO photos.  WHAT?!  I know.  Shameful for a professional photographer. Maybe we’ll make the kids dress up and fake it later today.  😉  Despite the lack of photographic documentation, yesterday was GREAT.    My favorite thing about Easter Sunday will always be the sunrise service at our church.  There is nothing like waking up and immediately heading over there to sit outside, worship Jesus Christ and celebrate the fact that HE is ALIVE!!!  From there we came home, got dressed up for more church and then spent the afternoon with a great group of friends.  It was a WONDERFUL day to spend Resurrection Sunday!

1 Peter 1:3  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!  In His great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead…

But now it’s Monday and while the rest of our little city is on Spring Break, the Smith School is not.  That means back to teaching and back to blogging!  And what better way to get back to blogging than with Miss Eleanor?  She’s GORGEOUS!!!  Eleanor, we are so happy that you are here and we look forward to getting to know you, Little one!
